The Man Behind The Lens
A landscape photographer for almost 10 years, Malcolm often retreats from his home in Raleigh, NC to hit the road with his camera, wife and two children in tow. Born and raised at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, and having lived in east Tennessee, he is constantly drawn to the mountains for their diversity in vistas and scenic opportunities. He spends much of his time hiking and camping with his family, but at nights he heads out alone with his camera capturing his favorite subjects, the movement of the stars and the early morning light of sunrises.
Malcolm was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. He moved to middle Tennessee in 2005 and then to North Carolina in 2014. He enjoys photographing a wide range of subjects. He is self-taught and has a distinctive style which makes his photographs instantly recognizable.
His images have been featured in numerous magazines including Our State Magazine, AT Journeys, Murfreesboro Magazine, Smoky Mountain Living, Coastal Living.
His work has been licensed for commercial purposes by businesses in the US and around the world including LP Building Products, Microsoft, Wells Fargo, MTV and many more.
