Foggy Morning

So I awoke to some awesome fog on Friday morning. Once I got the kids up and off to school, I grabbed the camera and headed out. Drove around and shot for an hour or so and then I came up on this scene right outside of Murfreesboro. Took a while to get the beautiful horse to pose just right 🙂

Walter Hill Dam

Finding a unique angle on a subject you’ve shot over and over can be challenging sometimes. I found myself out at Walter Hill Dam again last Saturday evening for a senior portraits session. Afterwards, I stuck around to shoot the dam again. I almost immediately noticed this swirl in the water and knew this was going to be something different. I think it turned out pretty nice…

Another panorama! Just like the last one, this is a 4 shot panorama (each a 7 exposure HDR). I was at home when I noticed the skies taking shape. Without much time to get to a more interesting spot, I headed to the farm field across from my house 🙂
