Goodbye Nashville

My friends, I’m writing today to let you all know that I am moving from the Nashville, Tennessee area to Raleigh, North Carolina. Over the last several years, the people of Murfreesboro and Nashville have been very supportive of my photography, and I truly appreciate you all. I know that many of you continue to follow this blog and my facebook page mainly to see any new Nashville Skyline photos I may post. I hope you will continue to enjoy scenes from around beautiful North Carolina. I will miss this city, thank you all so much!

Below are a few of my favorite Nashville photos from the last couple of years – hope you enjoy!

Springfield, Tennessee – Courthouse

I made my way to Springfield, TN for the first time this past Saturday. I was there doing some pet photography on the square (coming soon to the blog), and managed to grab this shot in between.

The Same Shot

Just for fun, I thought I’d process the same shot 2 completely different ways. It’s amazing the differences!

The first was cropped tighter and processed using cinematic tones in Photoshop CS5. The Second is an HDR image processed in Photomatix and Photoshop CS5.

Thanks for looking!

Franklin, Tennessee

Earlier this week I stopped by Franklin, Tennessee after work to get some photos. Before this, I had zero shots of the downtown area of Franklin.

I got lots of shots, we’ll break it up into categories…

HDR

There were so many people and cars it was hard getting most of those shots. Once I found a composition I wanted I would have to wait several minutes to get it with no cars…

Black and White

Downtown Franklin is well suited for Black and White photography

Most of these color shots looked so good in black and white also, but I needed to throw some color in there!

Nashville at Night

I recently met up with the Nashville Photography Meetup Group for an evening of shooting in Downtown Nashville.

Since this is a photography blog and you didn’t come here to read, I’ll just post the pictures 🙂
